Local SEO for Tailors That Actually Moves the Needle
If you're a tailor and your phone has gone quiet, here's why, and what we do about it.
No twelve-month contracts · cancel after the third month · website yours forever
Why It's Different for Tailors
Two things matter for tailors more than anything: how fast someone can see your phone number, and whether your reviews look better than the next listing's. Get those two right and the rest is fine-tuning.
If you are a tailor, you already know the bread and butter: suit alterations and wedding outfits, with curtain and soft furnishing alterations when the season turns. Professionals needing suit alterations, brides and grooms, people needing clothing repairs, which means tailors need to be findable when those exact searches happen.
What We Actually Do
For tailors specifically, the picture looks like this. Most tailors we speak to are losing work to two or three local competitors with better-ranked Google listings. It is an everything-in package, not an a-la-carte menu. Website, Google profile, reviews, SEO, missed-call recovery, all bundled. Removing things does not make it cheaper because the system only works as a system.
For tailors, the version of this we run looks like weekly Google profile updates with photos from real tailor jobs, four blog posts a month written for the searches tailors customers actually use, and a monthly performance report you can read on a phone.
What Most Owners Get Wrong
We work with seven UK trades businesses, and the same diagnosis keeps coming up across our tailors and other trades clients. The common thread is search visibility, not skill. The honest truth: most local businesses lose more work to bad Google visibility than to bad service. Your skill is fine. Your work is fine. Your prices are fine. Your problem is that Google can't find you.
The Clients We Already Run
Among the tailors we have already taken on, every single one had the same bottleneck. Their Google profile was half-empty and their site was not ranking for the urgent tailor searches. Honest comparison: most marketing agencies show you a wall of logos. We have a list of seven names you can verify on Google Maps. Pinnacle Plumbers, Tami Plumbing, Discount Heating NW, Optimum HVAC, M&R Property and Paving, Fylde Bathrooms, Alan's Plumbing. Look them up. They are real.

The Three Things That Move the Needle
Local SEO and Google Business Profile
Our SEO work is opinionated. We do not chase every algorithm update. We focus on the things that have moved local rankings for the last decade: relevance to the search term, prominence (reviews and citations), and proximity to the searcher. Everything else is noise.
Missed-Call Text-Back
Every missed call gets an automatic text within seconds. The script is plain and human (we wrote it ourselves, it does not say 'this is an automated message'). Most callers reply within minutes and book a callback.
Review Automation
We send the request as a polite text the same day, with a single tap link to your Google profile. No app downloads, no signup, no friction. The customer is on the review page in two taps.

Frequently Asked
What does it actually cost?
All in: £199 setup (one-off, covers the website, yours to keep) and £199 a month for everything else. We do not do tiered pricing or upsells. That is the price.
What do you actually do every month?
We replace four jobs you would normally pay separately for: web designer (£2k-5k one-off), SEO agency (£500-1,500/month), review automation app (£40-100/month), and missed-call answering service (£50-150/month). All bundled into one price.
Do I need to do anything technical?
If you can text us a logo and a few photos of your work, you have done your bit. Everything else, including the boring technical stuff like SSL certificates and search console setup, is on us.
What if I already have a website?
We work with what you have got. If your current website is broken or slow, we rebuild it. If it is fine, we keep it and just sort out the SEO and Google profile. Your domain stays the same either way.
How long until I see results?
Honest answer: anyone who guarantees specific numbers is lying to you. We can guarantee the work gets done properly. The missed-call text-back system pays for itself the first time you save a job. SEO results take longer, usually three to six months for meaningful movement.
Can I cancel?
After three months you can cancel any time, no notice period, no exit fees. The website is yours to keep. We transfer the domain and the site to whoever you want.
